Karen E. Jenkins was born in Huntington,    West Virginia, in 1965.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1988 and a Master’s   degree in journalism in 1995, both from Marshall University.  She earned her J. D. degree from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington,     in 2003.  Karen was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Kanawha County Bar Association, the West Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association, and Phi Delta Phi international legal fraternity. 

     Before joining Schuda & Associates, pllc, in 2007, Karen practiced law at John R. Fowler, PLLC, and Huddleston Bolen Beatty Porter & Copen, LLP.  Karen’s practice areas include insurance defense, coverage and bad faith; civil litigation; and workplace injuries.
